My name is Bryce Walters, and I am Ember Lane Studios

Ember Lane Studios was founded in 2024 with the idea of its conception during the 2020 pandemic. I named it after the street I lived on during that time. I was In college working on my music degree when the world was put on hold. I wasn’t able to work at the time, so I decided to use the little music experience I had in order to make an income. I started freelancing and offering mixing/mastering services to my friends and people I connected with online hoping to continue perfecting my craft. I worked with a handful of people, helped create multiple albums and saved up to expand my collection of hardware and plugins. After some time, I was able start up online courses through Portland Community College to earn my associates of general studies in 2022 and eventually transfer to Portland State university to earn my Bachelors of Science in Music and Sonic Arts in 2025. I no longer live on Ember Lane, but I use it’s name as a reminder and a metaphor to remind myself that when you’re lost in the dark, you won’t be able to find your way until the path is lit. I found passion in music, but I found another in helping people with their own.
